| More
about Executive & Group Coaching |
| |
Coaching is provided on both an individual (executive coaching) and a
group (team coaching) basis. Executive Coaching is relatively expensive
and therefore most companies only invest in this type of coaching for
their top performers and executives in key leadership positions. Group
coaching is a cost-effective alternative to address the critical issues
required by the organisation to develop and empower the pool of talent
that are being groomed as the leaders of tomorrow. |
Executive Coaching
During this process the individual is guided to define and achieve
goals, both on a personal and business level.
The coach provides the coachee with the necessary
structure and tools to enable him/her to
achieve
results much quicker than
he/she would have achieved on his/her own.
Characteristics of the coaching process:
The coach ensures that the coachee is provided
with the necessary challenge and support to stretch him/herself and
therefore to accomplish more than in normal circumstances.
The process demands a great degree of trust,
understanding and commitment from both parties.
It is based on voluntary interaction from both
parties. |
It focuses on enhancing performance, generating
change and developing the whole person, taking into consideration the
systems and processes that are part of their daily lives.
It therefore ensures the
build up of comprehensive and proven abilities
through a program that appropriately intertwines individual coaching,
theoretical debate and the practical implementation of skills that can
be measured and assessed. |

Phases in the coaching process:
An executive coaching program has three phases.
Phase One
is a five to six month intervention that entails 10 two-hour
sessions (20 hours in total) with the coachee. The sessions are
normally scheduled two weeks apart. |
Phase Two
is an extension of five sessions (if required). These
additional sessions start four to six weeks after the end of
Phase 1 to ensure that the coachee has not become dependent on
the coach. |
Phase Three
consists of coaching conversations that are offered once an
individual has completed a coaching assignment (10 or 15
sessions). The coaching conversations are scheduled either
quarterly (4 per year) or every two months (6 per year). |
The
outcomes of the coaching assignment become the new behaviour of the
coachee. The result is sustainability of the newly acquired skills and
behaviour and the effect on all people and systems around the coachee
will be of a lasting nature.

Group Coaching
Where a large number of employees have to be coached and where
affordability is a problem, group coaching is a very effective
alternative to executive coaching. The purpose of this intervention is
the elevation of identified skills and competencies at all levels in the
company.
It strives to empower employees to effectively communicate,
challenge and motivate through the simultaneous enhancement of all round
leadership and interpersonal skills, increased personal responsibility
and the development of each and every individual to reach his/her
highest potential.
The
outcomes of group coaching:
Improved Management and Leadership skills
Enhanced Communication
More effective Interaction between group
members |

accept Personal Responsibility |
Elevation of Motivation and Job satisfaction

Our approach:
To ensure
that the results achieved are both sustainable and self-generating,
we follow a managed approach with measurable outcomes that are
delivered at the end of each program. |
